Job Description:
We are currently seeking a talented Outside Business Development Manager to join our team. As an Independent Contractor you will be responsible for promoting and selling DHL International Shipping Services. You will respond to customer needs and requirements with the appropriate DHL service. You will maintain a high level of customer service with existing customers and leverage relationships to expand business. You will develop relationships with new clients by prospecting and responding to business development leads.

Responsibilities:
• Sell profitable new key business by cold calling, cultivating leads and networking
• Make customized presentations to various decision making audiences to close new business
• Develop new profitable opportunities within account base
• Maintains and increase revenue streams with your accounts, to include: face to face visits, problem solving and administrative follow-up
• Master international knowledge of the DHL network and use Pro Star tools, processes and technologies to manage/grow your book of business and document activity
• Ensure high post-sales satisfaction and positive long-term relationships
• Collaborate with Sales and Operations teams to maximize sales and revenue growth

Requirements:
• Small Parcel Sales with an International flavor is a plus.
• Cold Calling! You must enjoy pulling door handles and talking to potential customers every day. This is not a job for someone who wants to sit on the phone and manage house accounts.
• Successful and documented b to b sales experience (selling services vs. product is preferred)
• Strong negotiation and communication skills (verbal and written)
• Leadership and achievement in academic, professional, and/or military environments
• Computer Proficiency (Word,Excel,Powerpoint) and experience with, and use of a CRM system is preferred
• Successful academic and professional track record
• Transportation sales industry experience and/or a book of business is a plus

Job Requirements:
Pro Star Logistics is looking for an individual who wants to be at a six figure level through our aggressive compensation plan at 1 year and making +$200K in 2-3 years.

Pro Star Logistics offers a compensation/commission plan, which allows you the freedom to work as aggressively as you want to from your home office.

This is an Independent Contractor – 1099 IRS position.
